We had this oven installed on December 1st 2008. It lasted 4 weeks before the magnetron and inverter went, rendering the microwave completely unusable.
We called kitchenaid to get the appliance fixed, who sent a repair technician who diagnosed the problem but couldn’t fix it. Kitchenaid then sent ANOTHER technician who then had to re-diagnose the problem.
The second technician has been a nightmare since, unable to order correct parts and fix the problem at all.
To this date, the oven has been broken for 4 weeks with no sign of it getting fixed anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and get something else.
